Why this event
In the next few decades, the North Sea will be, as part of the Energy Transition, the main scene for a vast growing activity in offshore wind farm installation and operation and possible other renewable activities. Next to the regular operations in the oil and gas fields ten thousands of wind turbines will need to be installed in these waters. The many ports and the situated companies that are strategically located on the European shores that border the North Sea will, each in their own way, play a vital role as hub, feeding the many existing and yet to be build wind farms. Through a series of information and networking events North Sea Offshore Ports will highlight each port’s unique position and role, be it as a maintenance, storage or installation base, and the possibilities each offer for both national and international business.
